For the love of cheese.
I wish to live in a world filled with free candy & pink flying elephants with tiny little wings. There's nothing I love more than the feeling of my cat sleeping next to me at night. Sometimes I hope I wake up to the sudden talent of singing like Janis Joplin. I love floral print but if I was ever to be given the gift of flowers as a romantic gesture, I'd be offended. Fashion, music, & art have always been my only forms of expression.

For the love of cheese.

This picture would be nothing without the gloves. You Aint lie…
Yesterday was the last day of my spring break, I stayed on an island the entire time! Staten Island that is. I think it’s safe to say this break from school was short lived. I didn’t do much but read and sit around watching pre-recorded shows. I can’t blame this all on myself though, the weather wasn’t the greatest to go out in. Last night I went over Kevin’s house to eat for his Mama’s birthday. After dinner, Kevin, Kathleen and I decided to watch their old home videos. It was really cute actually, just them as babies doing the darndest things. We also came across a video that I was in too, which was really nice. I made a little appearance at their family party but while watching I quickly realized, showing up at other people’s family parties is all I ever do. I’ve never “belonged” to a certain family and trust me I’ve been isolated enough to know I’m not biologically related. Ever since I was little it was evident to me that I was the odd one out. Unfortunately, as I get older being set apart has become more obvious. I was actually told once to get out of a picture because it “real” cousins only. I’m sure it was a joke but it was true, I wasn’t a real cousin and I shouldn’t be allowed to taint a family portrait. I’d like to know, what makes someone family? I know there’s family you’re born into but what considers someone family?
A little upbeat song with a hateful message <3
